Im Mittelpunkt der wissenschaftlichen Forschung des Instituts für Molekularbiologie und Medizinische Chemie steht die Untersuchung von mukosalen Schutz-, Reparatur- und Differenzierungsmechanismen (u.a. Rolle von TFF-Peptiden).
