Initial projects and PhD programmes

From the fiscal year 2008 the sponsorship of young scientists at the Medical Faculty initiated by the Magdeburg Research Network (start-up projects and PhD) in pursued through initial projects and PhD projects within the scope of internal research funding within the performance oriented awarding of funds (LOM).

Young scientist fund

Sponsorship of young scientists at the Medical Faculty for foreign travel to overseas facilities as well as congress or conference participation in order to actively display their own research results.

HEXAL award 2009

Sponsorship of young scientists at the Medical Faculty of Magdeburg. A research project of outstanding clinical importance is sponsored annually with an award of EUR 10,000 which is made available to the applicant for his/her research activities.
