Rowing against Cancer: 30,000 Euros in proceeds once again go to Project for Cancer Patients
On 11 July 2024, the Magdeburg organizers of the "Rowing against Cancer" charity regatta accepted a cheque for 30,000 euros from the Living with Cancer Foundation.
This is the proceeds of the charity regatta "Rowing against Cancer", which was organized for the 4th time in Magdeburg on 3 September 2023 by the Foundation Living with Cancer together with the Magdeburg rowing clubs and the Tumor Center Magdeburg/Saxony-Anhalt e.V. A total of 63 teams took part in this very special competition on the regatta course at the Mückenwirt. Thanks to their commitment, the mental support of numerous visitors, generous donations and many sponsors, the regatta was once again a complete success. The money is used by the Living with Cancer Foundation to support the project "Active movement and relaxation for cancer patients - improved well-being during and after cancer treatment", a special offer for people with cancer from Magdeburg and the surrounding area.

The organizers are already looking forward to the next charity regatta, the date of which has already been set: On August 31, 2025, it will be "Rowing against Cancer" in Magdeburg for the 5th time.
