Public guided tours of the exhibition ‘’THERE IS SOMETHING. Cancer and Emotions’
Since 20 September 2024, a moving exhibition at Magdeburg University Hospital has been offering a deep insight into the historical, cultural and emotional dimensions of cancer.
University Medicine Magdeburg is inviting the public to guided tours of the exhibition ‘THERE IS SOMETHING. Cancer and Emotions’. From 20 September 2024 to 30 June 2025, the exhibition is dedicated to the emotional aspects of cancer and highlights the range of feelings experienced by those affected and their relatives - from fear and anger to hope and the will to live. Free guided tours without registration
Interested visitors can take part free of charge and without prior registration. A guided tour lasts approx. 45 minutes. The exhibition is barrier-free. The next dates are:
- Thursday, 24.10.2024, at 4 pm
- Friday, 25 October 2024, at 11 a.m.
- Thursday, 21 November 2024, at 4 pm
- Friday, 22 November 2024, at 11 a.m.
- Thursday, 05/12/2024, at 4 pm
Opening hours and exhibition venue
- Monday to Friday, in each case from 10:00 to 18:00
- Location: House 7/Neuer Hörsaal on the campus of the University Medical Centre Magdeburg, Leipziger Straße 44, 39120 Magdeburg
