Dancing and learning: a workshop for cancer patients
On June 14 and 15, 2024, the Cancer Counseling Center of the University Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy Magdeburg together with the Association for Health, Exercise and Sport e.V. (VGBS e.V.) cordially invites you to a workshop with lectures and dancing in Magdeburg. The workshop will take place on 14.06.2024 from 14:00 to 18:00 and on 15.06.2024 from 10:00 to 14:30 at the VGBS e.V. Magdeburg, Danzstraße 7, 39104 Magdeburg and is aimed at cancer patients and their relatives. Participation is free of charge.
Healing movement:Dancing during therapy
Exercise has been proven to be an effective method for coping better with therapy, reducing side effects and recovering more quickly.This workshop will introduce you to dancing as a form of exercise suitable for therapy. Whether you are fit or exhausted, beginner or advanced - dancing is suitable for everyone. You don't need any previous experience, just curiosity. Breaks can be taken at any time.
You are welcome to come alone or with a companion. Dance couples will be found on site. Drinks, fruit and cookies will be provided. Please bring something to eat for the breaks.
