January 26, 2023, is the date of the Patient (www.tagdespatienten.de ) The motto of this year's event is "Health - Knowledge - Competence. Only through the communication of health competence is it possible to involve patients at eye level in the recovery process. This year, Magdeburg University Medical Center is participating for the first time and is looking forward to communicating interesting topics on patient safety as well as various offers for communicating praise and criticism.
In addition to providing the best possible medical care, University Medicine also aims to ensure that patients feel safe and well cared for. For this reason, the University Medical Center offers patients and their relatives the opportunity to report their suggestions, criticisms and complaints to the Central Complaint Management. The staff of the University Medical Center are pleased to receive both positive and negative comments, as they actively support the optimization of processes.
On the Day of the Patient, the University Medical Center would also like to set an example. On Thursday, January 26, 2023, all interested parties will have the opportunity to speak with staff members of the Complaint Management Department by telephone from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 0391 / 67-25242 and receive advice on the various reporting channels and the procedure for processing your concern.
