6. Where can I live in Magdeburg?

There is no shortage of appartments in Magdeburg. Therefore it is easy , to find relatively affordable accommodation. However, nice little flats (1-2 rooms) or furnished rooms and appartments are rare. The city centre of Magdeburg was destroyed during the Second World War, for this reason old beautiful houses are left only in a few quarters. A lot of quarters were build up during the 50-70ies. Nowadays a lot of the buildings have been renovated.
