The Faculty of Medicine invites you to attend the inaugural lecture by Dr. Marcus Krüger on November 7, 2025. The topic is “Exogenous influences on cells: From molecular changes to clinical relevance.”

On October 22, 2025, the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg's medical campus hosted its first Medicine Theme Day as part of its Fall University program. For one day, 11th and 12th grade students had the opportunity to experience firsthand how exciting and diverse studying medicine can be, with real insights into research, teaching, and everyday clinical practice.

Another important step has been taken toward raising awareness and enhancing the public image of the integration of the Pfeiffersche Stiftungen medical facilities as subsidiaries of Magdeburg University Hospital: the new names of the hospital subsidiaries and the MVZ are now officially entered in the commercial register.
