The following hygiene measures apply on the premises of Magdeburg University Medical Center:

1. Completion of a pre-triage sheet
2. Wearing an FFP2 mask at all times in all indoor areas
3. Hand disinfection before entering as well as when leaving the indoor areas
4. Compliance with the minimum distance of 1.5 m

28 July 2025 – Prof. Dr. Markus Fendt from the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg has been elected as the new president of the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society (IBNS). The handover took place on 30 June 2025 during the IBNS Annual Meeting in Tromsø, Norway. Prof. Fendt succeeds Prof. Dr. Jill Silverman from the University of California, Davis, who held the position for two years.

Am kommenden Samstag, 24. September 2022, lädt die Universitätsklinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie gemeinsam mit dem Referat der Angehörigen der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Bipolare Störungen e.V. (DGBS) von 9:30 - 17:00 Uhr zur öffentlichen Veranstaltung „Bipolare Störungen – Spagat zwischen helfen wollen und Grenzen setzen“ ein.
