Under the apt theme “Nursing requires staying power—and we have it”, the Magdeburg Intensive Care Day on September 1, 2026, brought together dedicated professionals from the fields of nursing, therapy, and medicine in the New Lecture Hall (Building 7) at Magdeburg University Medical Center.

They have gone through years of intensive training, gained a wealth of practical experience, and overcome numerous challenges: 32 graduates have successfully completed their training as registered nurses. Congratulations!

Graduates from the classes of 1966 and 1976 returned to their former school for the traditional alumni reunion. Dean Prof. Daniela Dieterich honored the anniversary classes with Golden and Diamond State Exams. In her keynote address, Prof. Dr. med. Ute Seeland spoke about gender-sensitive medicine.
