With a large number of participants, engaging academic presentations, and in-depth professional discussions, the Young Research Day on May 18, 2026 at Magdeburg University Hospital was a resounding success. The event brought together students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers from various departments and provided a platform for presenting current research projects and for networking within the university hospital.

Eintauchen in eine faszinierende Verbindung aus Wissenschaft, Zukunftsvisionen, Musik und Kultur: Die zweite Ausgabe des Wissenschaftsfestivals „Tomorrow Labs“ lädt am 6. Juni 2026 in den Wissenschaftshafen Magdeburg ein. Zwischen 16:00 und 22:00 Uhr wird das Gelände zum offenen Experimentierraum für aktuelle Forschung – lebendig, niedrigschwellig und mitten in der Stadt.

Dr. Alexandra Ramshorn-Zimmer is joining the new leadership team at the Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency in Healthcare (IQTIG) in Berlin. A specialist in internal medicine, she has also served as a visiting researcher at the Institute for Public Health in Acute Medicine (IPHAM) at Magdeburg University Hospital since 2025, bringing expertise in digitalization, health services research, and quality improvement.
