In a moving ceremony on September 29, the Magdeburg University Orthopedic Clinic presented Cosima Herrmann with a symbolic check—one day after her 18th birthday. The presentation was in memory of her mother, who died in a tragic accident on July 4, 2010. At the time, Cosima was just two years old.

New disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimer's disease open up promising prospects and, at the same time, place new demands on diagnostics, monitoring, and care. In an interdisciplinary online event organized by the Magdeburg Memory Clinic, current therapeutic approaches, patient selection, and practical issues such as ARIA management will be presented and discussed.

For five decades, Ms Rosemarie Linke has been a fixture at Magdeburg University Hospital. With impressive consistency, great professional competence and tireless commitment, she has shaped our institution. We congratulate her warmly on this extraordinary anniversary!
