University Eye Clinic

Dear patients, guests and visitors,

We would like to welcome you to the website of the University Eye Hospital Magdeburg.

Please note that since the end of 2020, we are here for you at two locations:

You will find the inpatient ward and the operating rooms of the University Eye Hospital on the premises of the University Women's Hospital (Gerhart- Hauptmann-Straße 35, Haus 101)!

The outpatient clinic of the Department of Ophthalmology remains at the old location on the main campus of the University Hospital in house 60b.

Emergencies will be treated in the outpatient clinic (house 60b) on weekdays until 7 pm, at all other times (weekdays after 7 pm, weekends and holidays) the doctor on duty in Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße is responsible.

Currently, due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, there are still bottlenecks in the surgical care of our patients, especially for elective procedures. However, we continue to treat emergencies.
