The registration results in an immediate alarm of the shock room team.

 An employee of the central emergency department will ask the caller the following questions:

Who is calling?

Where is the emergency?

What injuries/illnesses are present?

What are the vital functions like?

Want an ITS bed? (Bed in Intensive Care Station/Ward)

Which specialisation(s) are required beyond the shock room team?

When is the estimated time of arrival?

Transfers and Trauma Mobile Phone

If a patient is transferred from another hospital of the trauma network, a so-called trauma mobile phone is at your disposal.

The emergency surgeon on duty can be reached at 01511/7134246. In exceptional cases, call diversion is activated in the event of faults in the radio network in the hospital.

TKmed

We are participants in the TKmed-Network.

This system enables us to contact other clinics in the area teleradiologically, which guarantees a faster and safer care of the patients. In particular, patients who, due to their injury pattern, are to be transferred from other clinics to our hospital benefit from this because we can plan further medical care using the transferred X-ray and CT files before the patient arrives. After the arrival of the patient, treatment can be started immediately without losing time through diagnostic measures.

In addition, the TKmed network represents an excellent opportunity for the participating clinics to get in touch with each other regarding the further treatment of a patient within the framework of second opinions. An unnecessary transport of the patient can thus often be avoided.

The technology used by TKmed ensures that patient data is only transmitted in encrypted form - data protection is therefore completely secure.
