Emergencies
The central emergency department (ZNA) of the hospital (House 60A) is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year with specialists in the major subjects (trauma surgery, surgery, internal medicine). All other specialties can be consulted at a short notice.
At ZNA (Central Emergency Department), all patients who have suffered accidents at work, acute emergencies or illnesses can check themselves in here. Access to the emergency room is via Leipziger Straße and is signposted. The tram stops on Fermersleber Weg and the Uniclinic is about 100m away. Paid short-term parking is available in limited numbers.
At the patient registration, the required personal details and health insurance information are collected and stored in our system. Please bring the emergency aid pass and any existing allergy pass. Unfortunately, waiting times can not be avoided according to the number of patients, but these are shortened by an intelligent management system. We ask for your understanding, that we treat patients from a medical point of view and therefore not always according to the order of registration.
Relatives can obtain Information of admitted patients via the number 67-21202 (patient registration of the rescue center) and at 67-01 (general information).
