Successful practical application: students deepen their vaccination knowledge in HAWIRA's PeerVax project
In the extracurricular project "PeerVax", 4th-year students of human medicine put their vaccination skills to the test. The project, organized by the Arbeitsbereich Hausärztliche Aus- und Weiterbildung in der regionalen Allgemeinmedizin (HAWIRA), (Department of General Practice Education and Training in Regional General Practice (HAWIRA) offered the prospective doctors the opportunity to gain valuable experience as part of their practical training.
Under professional guidance, the students vaccinated each other against the flu. This practical approach proved to be extremely instructive, as it not only deepened the technical aspects of vaccination but also helped to strengthen confidence and competence in dealing with vaccinations.
