UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL MAGDEBURG

On September 1, 2026, Magdeburg University Medical Center welcomed 133 new trainees. For these young professionals, a new chapter in their lives is beginning across a variety of healthcare professions—ranging from nursing and anesthesia to medical-technical professions, as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Magdeburg University Medical Center will support them on their journey into their professional careers and looks forward to this shared start.

Under the apt theme “Nursing requires staying power—and we have it”, the Magdeburg Intensive Care Day on September 1, 2026, brought together dedicated professionals from the fields of nursing, therapy, and medicine in the New Lecture Hall (Building 7) at Magdeburg University Medical Center.

They have gone through years of intensive training, gained a wealth of practical experience, and overcome numerous challenges: 32 graduates have successfully completed their training as registered nurses. Congratulations!
