In August, our first-year midwifery students took their first state practical exams—an exciting step in their training. Those who were admitted to the exam performed very well, and we are very proud of them.
The exams cover the areas of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Two exams take place in the simulation lab at Martin Luther University Halle, while the exam on the postpartum period is taken directly in the clinics. Some impressions from the simulation lab show how practical the exams are.
