1. Magdeburger TAVI-Day
Dear colleagues,
Since 2013, transcatheter aortic valves have been implanted at our hospital. Initially, this was only done for patients who could no longer be treated surgically, but now there is also excellent data for younger patients with intermediate or low surgical risk. What does this mean for the lifetime management of patients?
How should we proceed in cases of prosthesis degeneration or progressive CHD? Which patients should continue to receive conventional aortic valve replacement?
We want to discuss this. You can also perform a TAVI procedure yourself on a simulator or implant a stent in the coronary arteries after TAVI and
try out many tricks and techniques directly.
With the 1st Magdeburg TAVI Day, we want to give you an insight into our everyday implantation work.
Refreshments will be provided during the event on November 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall 7.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Michael Hansen, Rüdiger Braun-Dullaeus, George Awad, and Jens Wippermann
