Thinking About Internal Medicine Beyond Disciplinary Boundaries
On November 6, 2026, IMSA 2026 will bring together physicians from hospitals and private practices, those in residency training, and medical students for the 34th Annual Meeting of the Society for Internal Medicine of Saxony-Anhalt e.V. at the Altes Theater in Magdeburg.
The program combines current topics in internal medicine with issues that concern many specialties—ranging from obesity, sports medicine, and critical care medicine to geriatrics, vaccinations, and human genetics, as well as the psychosocial consequences of digital media use, artificial intelligence, cardiology, nephrology, and oncology. The program also includes a nursing symposium and annotated case reports.
Registration is now open. Original research papers can still be submitted as abstracts by October 15, 2026. The three highest-rated abstracts will be presented as lectures and awarded prize money.
