133 new trainees begin their training at Magdeburg University Medical Center
On September 1, 2026, Magdeburg University Medical Center welcomed 133 new trainees. For them, this marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and a diverse training program in the healthcare sector. Magdeburg University Medical Center is pleased to support these young professionals on their career paths.
The new trainees are starting in various training programs. These include training to become a registered nurse, an anesthesia technician, a medical technologist for laboratory analytics, a medical technologist for radiology, and a medical technologist for functional diagnostics. In addition, training programs are beginning in the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
The various apprenticeship programs share a common goal: to help people take on responsibility and work together to contribute to high-quality medical care.
Magdeburg University Medical Center wishes all new trainees a successful start, exciting experiences, and much joy during their training.

New Training Programs Starting in 2027
Next year, Magdeburg University Medical Center will expand its training programs. Starting in 2027, additional training positions will be offered for nursing assistants and orthoptists.
Applications for the 2027 training cohort are already being accepted.
