Advanced training at Magdeburg University Eye Clinic
The University Eye Clinic in Magdeburg invites you to the latest edition of its successful video training course on ophthalmic surgery on November 12, 2025.
The event will take place from 4:15 p.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. in the lecture hall of the University Women's Clinic, Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße 35, 39108 Magdeburg.
University ophthalmic surgery differs in many ways from routine procedures in general ophthalmology.
The training course aims to highlight these special features, present new surgical techniques, and openly discuss practical challenges.
The event will feature surgical videos from the past year, presented and explained by senior physicians from the University Eye Clinic. The focus will be on complex procedures and the management of complications.
Topics covered will include the surgical treatment of subretinal hemorrhages, techniques for proliferative diabetic retinopathy, scleral lens fixation, and modern procedures in glaucoma surgery.
