The topic „Social Media and the Future of Democracy„ was already discussed in March at the University Medical Center Magdeburg. For anyone who was unable to attend at that time—or who would like to delve deeper into the topic again—this is now an opportunity to experience the lecture in Halle.

- Speaker: Prof. Dr. med. Hans-Jochen Heinze (Medical Director, UMMD)
- Key points: How do AI, genetic engineering, and robotics influence human freedom? Prof. Heinze examines how medicine and politics must jointly assume responsibility to safeguard humanity in times of technological uncertainty.
2. Social Media and the Future of Democracy
- Speaker: Michael Willer (Managing Director Human Risk Consulting GmbH)
- Key points: A critical analysis of disinformation and algorithmic manipulation. Mr. Willer explains why media literacy is a fundamental “survival skill” even in childhood and what approaches a sustainable education system requires.
