Welcome to the Medical Faculty
The Alma Mater in Magdeburg is one of the youngest universities in Germany. On October 3, 1993, the Technical University, the College of Education and the Medical Academy Magdeburg merged to form the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg.
Every year, about 200 students are enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine for the winter semester for the Study in Human Medicine . From winter semester 2015/16 on, Masters Program in Immunology will also be offered. The Campus in the south of the state capital, where all courses take place and where the Dean of Studies of the (Faculty of Medicine) is located is of great advantage to students and education.

01.07.2024 - Anmeldung für Studierendenauswahltests am 7. September 2024 geöffnet
Die Studierendenauswahltests HAM-Nat, HAM-SJT und HAM-Man werden am 7. September 2024 an den Testorten Hamburg, Magdeburg und Greifswald durchgeführt. Das Anmeldeportal wird bis zum 29.07.2024 geöffnet sein. Die Teilnahme ist möglich, auch wenn Sie bereits am HAM-Nat teilgenommen haben, und hat keinen Einfluss auf weitere Teilnahmen in der Zukunft, z.B. im März 2025. Falls Sie an mehreren Terminen an den Tests teilnehmen, können sie bei einer Bewerbung bei hochschulstart jeweils das beste noch gültige Ergebnis angeben.
