For more than 15 years, Volker Fuhr and Werner Brose from the aquarium association Vallisneria Magdeburg e.V. have been looking after two aquariums in the parents' home and in the pediatric oncology department at the UMMD. These aquariums create a positive, therapeutic environment that supports the healing process and provides a form of mental and emotional relief.
