Prof. Dr. Alexander Link from the Clinic for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectiology Magdeburg will be a guest lecturer on November 28 as part of the "Science in the Town Hall" event series and will give a lecture on the influence of intestinal bacteria on health.

In a joint press conference attended by both chairmen of the supervisory board, the board of directors of Magdeburg University Hospital and the management of Magdeburg Municipal Hospital, the two institutions outlined how they intend to work together in the future.

The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the interdisciplinary Research Training Group 2408 "Maladaptive Processes at Physiological Interfaces in Chronic Diseases" at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg with 5 million euros for another four and a half years until 2027.
