- As of Monday, May 1, 2023, the following Corona-related restrictions for patients and visitors at Magdeburg University Medical Center will be lifted
- Elimination of the mask requirement for patients and visitors
The FFP-2 mask requirement for patients and visitors at Magdeburg University Medical Center will be discontinued with the exception of the hematology outpatient clinics and wards, where it will be continued for the time being to protect particularly vulnerable patients. Patients and visitors with cold symptoms are requested to continue wearing a respiratory mask..

Within the visiting hours of the University Medical Center Magdeburg, the limitation regarding the number of visitors per patient as well as the duration of the visit does not apply.
Our visiting hours:
Monday to Friday: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
