University Medicine Magdeburg opens doors for Future Day: insights into fascinating professional fields
"Future Day" will once again take place on April 25, 2024. Future Day, also known as Girls' Day and Boys' Day, gives pupils from the 5th grade onwards an insight into professions that do not conform to traditional gender stereotypes. As in previous years, UMMD is once again taking part - this year with two different programs.
Program 1: Nursing, OP & Physiotherapy
This program offers insights into the world of nursing, the role of surgical assistants and the diverse tasks of physiotherapy. Registration is possible via the Boys'Day Radar from March 1, 2024.
Program 2: Administration, pharmacy, purchasing and warehouse management
The second program provides a look behind the scenes of administration, pharmacy, purchasing and warehouse management in the hospital. This will illustrate the crucial functions these areas have for the smooth running of a hospital. Registration will also take place via the Girls'Day Radar from March 1, 2024.
