Welcome to the website of the Central Animal Laboratory (ZTL),
As a core facility, the ZTL is a service facility for research groups of the Faculty of Medicine (FME). Among other things, it is responsible for the keeping and breeding as well as the care of laboratory animals (mice and rats) in consultation with the users, in close cooperation with the animal welfare officers and the supervision and inspection authorities.
