International symposium at the Orthopaedic University Hospital Magdeburg
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Orthopaedic University Hospital Magdeburg cordially invites you to an international symposium, which will take place as part of the visit of the renowned ASG Fellows. The event will take place on the campus of Magdeburg University Hospital in the Demonstration Lecture Hall of House 28. Under the motto "Current Trends in Musculoskeletal Surgery", renowned ASG Fellows from the USA, Canada and Great Britain will present insights into the latest developments and treatment methods. The Austrian-Swiss-German Fellowship (ASG Fellowship) is one of the most important awards in German-speaking orthopaedics and trauma surgery. Every year, outstanding young orthopaedic surgeons from Germany, Switzerland and Austria have the opportunity to travel to the USA, Canada and England as part of this fellowship in order to experience an intensive scientific and clinical exchange.In return, experts from these countries visit German university hospitals to share their experiences and work together on new findings.
This year, three highly specialized professors of orthopaedics from Albuquerque, New Mexico, the American state of Iowa and Tunbridge Wells, Great Britain, are expected. In addition to visiting the research facilities and operating theatres at the Orthopaedic University Hospital Magdeburg, they will also take part in a joint symposium organized in cooperation with the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery at the University Hospital Halle/Saale.
The symposium offers a unique opportunity for orthopaedic and trauma surgery specialists to exchange information on the latest developments and treatment methods and to expand their specialist knowledge.
