Unit for Research and Unit for Third-Party Funding Management

As part of the academic administration, both units report directly to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. As a service for the academic self-administration as well as for the scientists of the UMMD, the tasks include:

• Advice on research funding as well as the acquisition of third-party funding,
• Supporting the application and administration of all third-party funded projects at UMMD,
• Participation in research-related resource planning,
• Supporting the development of contractual arrangements for research collaborations and research contracts,
• Supporting the Commission for the Promotion of Young Scientists, the Research Commission and Structural Commission.
