AZG MTR trainees conquer the Radiology Congress North in Hamburg
From January 19 to 20, 2024, the city of Hamburg was enlivened not only by the lively atmosphere and harbor charm, but also by the bright trainees of the 2nd year Medical Technologists for Radiology. They were part of the Radiology Congress North and made not only Magdeburg University Medicine, but above all the Training Center for Healthcare Professions proud.
The young talents bravely took up the challenge and ventured into the world of radiology to take part in the "NextGeneration" lecture series.
The focus was on the interventional CT at Magdeburg University Hospital, about which they gave a presentation. They received expert support from Prof. Dr. med. Maciej Pech, Head of the University Clinic for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and the MTR teachers at the AZG.

Participation in the congress paid off for the budding medical technologists - in the truest sense of the word. The best presentations were awarded prizes, and here the trainees landed a pleasing 3rd place. This means not only fame and honor, but also well-deserved prize money.
The trainees already have big plans for their trophy.Instead of simply sharing it, they have decided to invest the prize money in their planned graduation ceremony next year.So the success of the Radiology Congress North will not only serve as a memento of a fantastic achievement, but also as funding for an unforgettable celebration to mark the completion of their training.
