CI-Infotag für Hörgeschädigte – Mit einem Hörimplantat zu wiedergewonnenen Erlebnissen
The University Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine, Head and Neck Surgery Magdeburg cordially invites you to the CI Info Day for people with hearing loss and cochlear implant wearers. The aim of the event is to introduce the latest developments and possibilities in the treatment of hearing loss and at the same time to create a platform for exchange.
As a certified cochlear implant care center, Magdeburg University Medicine offers individually adapted solutions for various hearing disorders. An interdisciplinary team works together with patients and their relatives to ensure optimal care. This customized treatment enables even severely hearing impaired or deaf people to actively participate in social life. The cochlear implant, the first functioning sensory prosthesis in clinical practice, is used when conventional hearing aids do not offer sufficient improvement and regeneration of the sensory cells is not possible. It is suitable for people of all ages and for single-sided hearing disorders or in combination with hearing aids.
The Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Martin Durisin and the Department of Experimental Audiology under the direction of Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jesko Verhey cordially invite you to this information day in order to provide those affected, relatives and interested parties with the best possible information. The event is free of charge and registration is not required.
