Successful information evening on how to study medicine at the University of Magdeburg

To this end, an information and advice evening was held on January 24, 2024 for pupils from year 10 onwards as well as their parents and teachers. In the new lecture hall on the campus of Magdeburg University Medicine, the admission requirements, application modalities and the HAM-Nat selection test for studying medicine in Magdeburg were explained to around 80 interested parties.

"We are very pleased that our offer for a personal exchange on site was so well received," explained the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Daniela Dieterich, who welcomed the guests. After the presentation of important facts and figures, information stands were set up in the foyer where guests could talk to student representatives.Tips on preparing for the selection test were offered as well as individual student advice. In cooperation with the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, the faculty provided information about special offers such as the selection procedure for the rural and public health officer quota and the study program for the GP class.

Due to the great demand, further advisory services of this kind are to be expanded. The next opportunity to find out more about the courses on offer at Magdeburg University Medicine will be on May 4, 2024 at the Student Information Day. Interested parties will then also have the opportunity to take a look at the faculty's training and education building, also known as the MAMBA Skillslab.
